ماليزيا تعاقب بالسجن والغرامة من يبيع ويروج ويرتدي ساعات تظهر شعارات المثليين

أعلنت وزارة الداخلية الماليزية عقوبات تصل إلى السجن 3 سنوات ودفع غرامات تتجاوز 4 آلاف دولار لمن يبيع أو يروج أو يرتدي ساعات تظهر رموز المثليين أو شعاراتهم أو علمهم.
وقال بيان لوزارة الداخلية الماليزية -أمس الخميس- إن أي شخص “يصنّع أو يستورد أو ينتج (…) أو يحوز” هذا النوع من المنتجات، سيواجه عقوبة بالسجن تصل إلى 3 سنوات. أما من يضع ساعة مماثلة أو يوزعها، فسيدفع غرامة تعادل 4375 دولارا.

وأضاف البيان أن الحكومة الماليزية ملتزمة بمنع نشر المواد التي تنتهك الآداب العامة.
وفي مايو/أيار الماضي، دهمت وحدة من قوات الأمن التابعة لوزارة الداخلية متاجر تابعة لشركة “سواتش” السويسرية للساعات في 11 مركزا تجاريا في جميع أنحاء ماليزيا.
وفي حديث إلى وكالة الصحافة الفرنسية، أشار مسؤول في الوزارة -طلب عدم الكشف عن اسمه- إلى أن السلطات صادرت 172 ساعة بقيمة 14 ألف دولار، مشيرا إلى أن الساعات صودرت لأنها كانت تحمل الأحرف الأولى للمثليين وألوان علمهم.
ويذكر أن شركة الساعات السويسرية “سواتش” رفعت دعوى قضائية في يوليو/ تموز الماضي ضد الحكومة الماليزية لاسترداد الساعات المصادرة.
