طالب نحو 60 شخصية من الممثلين والمغنيين ونجوم الكوميديا في هوليوود بوقف إطلاق النار بين حركة حماس وإسرائيل وذلك في رسالة إلى الرئيس الأمريكي، مؤكدين ضرورة تكريم جميع الأرواح في الأراضي المقدسة.
و رفع ممثلون بارزون في هوليوود بينهم كيت بلانشيت وخواكين فينيكس ورامي يوسف وأندرو غارفيلد، رسالة إلى الرئيس الأميركي جو بايدن الجمعة، يحضّونه فيها على الدعوة إلى وقف إطلاق نار بين إسرائيل وحركة حماس.
وطلبت تايلور سويفت مغنية البوب الأمريكية
و عشرات الشخصيات في هوليوود من بايدن العمل على “وقف فوري للتصعيد ووقف إطلاق نار في غزة وإسرائيل تفادياً لخسارة مزيد من الأرواح”.
وجاء في الرسالة التي نشرها موقع
(منظمة: فنانون لأجل وقف إطلاق النار) “إننا نحض إدارتكم وجميع زعماء العالم على تكريم جميع الأرواح في الأراضي المقدسة والعمل من دون تأخير على وقف إطلاق النار ووضع حد لقصف غزة والإفراج الآمن عن الرهائن”، وأكدوا في رسالتهم انّ “إنقاذ الأرواح واجب أخلاقي”.
تأتي هذه الرسالة التي وقعها أيضاً جون ستيوارت والمغنية دوا ليبا وسوزان ساراندون وتشانينغ تاتوم وكريستين ستيوارت وكوينتا برونسون وماهرشالا.
وقالوا في الرسالة ” نرفض أن نروي للأجيال القادمة قصة صمتنا وأننا وقفنا مكتوفي الأيدي ولم نفعل شيئا. وكما قال منسق الإغاثة في حالات الطوارئ بالأمم المتحدة مارتن جريفيث لأخبار الأمم المتحدة ‘التاريخ يراقب'”. وجاء في الرسالة “يجب السماح للمساعدات الإنسانية بالوصول إليهم (سكان غزة)”.
يذكر أن معبر رفح قد تم فتحه وبدأت شاحنات المساعدات الإنسانية في الدخول إلى قطاع غزة المحاصر.
