جاء في استطلاع للرأي العام أجرته قناة ABC News وصحيفة “واشنطن بوست، أن أوضاع حوالي نصفالأمريكيين أصبحت أسوأ في عهد الرئيس الحالي جو بايدن.
وأضافت القناة: “يقول 44% من الأمريكيين إن وضعهم المالي تدهور خلال رئاسة بايدن، وهي أعلى نسبةفي استطلاعات الرأي التي أجرتها شبكة ABC News وواشنطن بوست لأي رئيس أمريكي منذ عام 1986″.
اوجزت الإشارة إلى أن 37% فقط من المشاركين في الاستطلاع، يوافقون على عمل بايدن كرئيس للدولة، فيمايدينه 56%. ويوافق عدد أقل من المشاركين على أداء بايدن في مجال الاقتصاد – 30%. وكانت شعبية بايدنأقل فيما يتعلق بمسألة حل المشاكل مع المهاجرين على الحدود مع المكسيك: 23٪ فقط من الأمريكيين يوافقونعلى عمله في هذا الاتجاه. يعتقد ما لا يقل عن 74% من المشاركين أن بايدن أكبر من أن يسعى لولاية ثانية،وهذه زيادة بـ 6 نقاط مئوية عن مؤشر مايو.
