وأضافت رئيسة الوزراء الدنماركية ميتيه فريدريكسن في تصريحات صحفية مساء الخميس:”لا أرى أن الفعل الذي يترتب عليه حرق كتب يمكن وصفه بتعبير عن الرأي، ولذلك فإن الإجراءات التي ستجرم من حرق الكتب الدينية، لا تساهم في الحد من حرية التعبير”.
وأكدت رئيسة الوزراء الدنماركية أنه من الضروري العمل عل تعديل القانون وتجريم هذه الأفعال.
