وقدم مدير المتحف زيد غازي الحضاري شرحاً مفصلًا عن تأريخ المتحف وما تعرض له من أضرارٍ أقدمت عليها عصابات داعش الاجرامية، فضلاً عن مناقشة وتعزيز سبل التعاون حول المساعدة والبحث عن القطع الآثارية التي تمت سرقتها من المتحف بالاستناد إلى قاعدة البيانات المحدثة.
من جانبها قدمت رئيس البعثة لمدير المتحف درعاً باسم (البعثة الاستشارية للاتحاد الأوربي في العراق) تعبيراً عن تعاونها مع السلطة الآثارية في استرداد القطع المسروقة والمهربة خارج العراق.
